Incandgold Social Listening for Threads (“the App”) is operated by Incandgold Software Studio (熾金軟體工作室)(“we”, “us”). The App helps a Threads account owner monitor the public conversation relevant to their own brand and manage their own presence on Threads. This policy explains what data we process and why.
Who can use the App
The App is used by the authenticated owner of a Threads account. You connect your ownThreads account via Meta’s OAuth flow and grant the permissions threads_basic and threads_keyword_search.
What data we access
- Your Threads profile (user id, username, name, profile picture) — to show you which account is connected.
- Your own Threads posts — displayed back to you in your dashboard.
- Keyword searches you run and the resulting public Threads posts — retrieved on your behalf so you can monitor mentions relevant to your brand.
- A Threads access token — stored securely on our server so the App can call the Threads API on your behalf. It is never shown to other users.
How we use it
We use this data solely to provide the App’s functionality to you, the authenticated owner. We do notsell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except with Meta’s Threads API as required to operate the service.
Retention & deletion
We retain your access token and profile only while your account is connected. When you remove the App from your Threads/Meta settings, or submit a data-deletion request, we delete the data we hold about you. See Data Deletion.
Security
Access tokens are stored server-side and transmitted over HTTPS. Access to your data is limited to your own authenticated session.
